Small Grant Support for Schools funds eligible arts education programs that take place during the school day, after school, and during the summer. Arts education programming that takes place during the school day involving disciplines such as dance, literary arts, media arts, music, storytelling, theater, traditional, and visual arts are eligible for funding. Programs must assess student learning. Fees for arts instruction, teaching resource materials and supplies are all allowable costs under this program.

Capitol improvements, fundraisers, and field trips are not eligible for funding. These funds also cannot be used for equipment, computers, software, cameras and/or other arts related hardware, food or beverages, awards such as ribbons, trophies and plaques, travel for students (including field trips), or as a substitution for regularly budgeted funds.
Schools are eligible for up to three awards per year. No more than 25% of funds may go toward supplies.
All K-12 public and private, non-religious schools in Oklahoma may apply.
Applications are to be submitted at least 60 days prior to the start of the program.
Individual awards may be up to $2,500. A cash match of at least 10% of the total project budget is required. Awards are subject to funds available.
