The Joseph Henry Edmondson Foundation focuses giving primarily for the welfare of children, the ill, and the elderly, the preservation and improvement of the environment, historic and folk art museums, medical research, and the United Church of Christ outreach programs.

The Joseph Henry Edmondson Foundation was established in 1987 in Colorado. The foundation does not maintain a website. Funds may be used for the following purposes:
Eligible applicants are non-profits in Colorado with emphasis in Colorado Springs, CO.
No support for evangelical organizations or political organizations. No grants to individuals or for sponsorships or for debt reduction or event funding.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. The Board meets in January, April, July, and October to review applications.
