The Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) is a federal, anti-poverty block grant which funds the operations of a state-administered network of local agencies. CSBG focuses on moving eligible individuals and families toward self-sufficiency. Eligibility is determined based on Federal Poverty Guidelines of 125% or below.
In FY15, Hillsborough County BOCC was awarded a total of $2,058,715 in CSBG funds.
Agencies receiving CSBG funding are required to have a Tripartite Board. These Boards:
Eligible applicants are non profit agencies serving Hillsborough County, Florida.
