The Peyton Anderson Foundation initiates projects to meet needs in the community, reacts to requests from charitable organizations, and provides college scholarships to promising students with financial need. With each grant that is funded and each project that is completed, the Foundation continues the vision of Peyton Anderson, Jr. to improve lives and enhance the communities of Middle Georgia.

The Peyton Anderson Foundation is a placed-based foundation focusing on grants that benefit Macon, Georgia. The Trustees prefer to fund projects whose purpose has measurable and lasting results and demonstrate collaboration with other non-profit organizations.

Grants are usually not given for the following:
Grants are made only to organizations which are qualified under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code to receive charitable contributions.
Applications are to be submitted April 1 or August 1, annually.
Award amounts vary by proposal.
