    Summary

    The Industry Cluster Grants program encourages companies in an industry sector to work together to solve problems, exchange ideas and develop talent. Technical Assistance (Planning) Grants are available to fund feasibility studies and organizational development efforts that benefit a key industry sector.  Implementation Grants are available to launch a well-defined program to improve a key industry sector’s effectiveness in areas such as R&D, tech transfer, workforce development and marketing.

    Industry Cluster Grants can be used for:

    • Planning and feasibility studies;
    • Program building;
    • Organizational development;
    • Improving existing industry cluster effectiveness; and
    • Promoting industry cluster growth

    Eligible applicants are trade associations, non-profits, for-profits, and research centers in Rhode Island.

    Deadline Details

    Applications must be submitted by January 26, 2016.

    Award Details

    Planning Grants range from $75,000 to $250,000. Implementation Grants range from $100,000 to $500,000.
