    Summary

    The purpose of the EPS Literacy and Intervention Division "Response to Intervention (RTI) Grant" program is to assist school districts in the development and improvement of their RTI programs. The goal is to aid districts in narrowing the achievement gap.

    Grantees are asked to provide: a detailed description of their planned or current RTI initiatives, a compelling statement of need for more RTI instructional resources, an implementation timeline, and information about their plans for evaluating their initiatives.

    Grantees will receive:
    • A face-to-face review and discussion of their intervention program;
    • An in-depth analysis of their approach, plus recommendations for improvement;
    • Support of up to 35% of the program cost (materials and professional development) to support the purchase of EPS RTI solutions; and
    • Access to an array of proven intervention programs and products, as well as Professional Development services, ongoing coaching, and support for district administrators and teachers.
